Vivacity Tech opens new Greenville warehouse, adds jobs

A working in the space has opened a new 67,000-square-foot warehouse in Greenville, a facility expected to provide more than 100 local jobs.

The company also has plans to expand its office space and expanding to a total Upstate workforce of 400.

The company was launched by CEO Eli Maloley in 2018, who has grown the business from four employees to more than 200.

Vivacity Tech’s new 67,000 square foot warehouse will help the company bring a six-fold increase in its capacity to deploy in schools, according to a news release. The company supports more than 2,000 school districts across the country.

Vivacity specializes in simplifying Chromebook deployment — providing end-to-end device support for over 1 million active devices — minimizing downtime, protecting schools’ technology investments and ensuring classrooms run smoothly, the company says.

The company is headquartered in Greenville and provides nationwide coverage from sites in Chicago, Denver and St. Paul, Minn. The company has 35 partner distribution centers nationwide.

Vivacity has grown rapidly since it started in 2018, earning a spot on the Inc. 5000 list for the past three years.

Vivacity Tech is dedicated to giving back to the community, according to the news release. To date, the company has donated more than $850,000 in technology and 35,000 volunteer hours to organizations across the United Staes including 19 nonprofits in the Upstate.

As part of its public benefit corporation commitment, Vivacity announced a technology donation to Front Porch Housing at the Oct. 8 ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The warehouse is located in Suite D at 301 Piedmont Grove Park in Greenville.
