Center Park Group begins construction on Berkeley County build-to-rent townhomes

Center Park Group, a general contractor specializing in build-to-rent homebuilding, broke ground on construction for a new townhome community in Berkeley County.

Berkshire on Clements Ferry will have 192 units for lease beginning in the summer. According to a news release, the three-story townhomes will be about 1,180 square feet with three bedrooms, three-and-a-half bathrooms and one-car garages.

The community will span 46.7 acres with a portion dedicated to open space. Amenities for tenants include a pool, playground, dog park, hammock stations and walking trails, with access to the Phillip Simmons school system and walking distance to Point Hope Commons retail center.

“Berkshire on Clements Ferry reflects the continued demand for thoughtfully designed rental housing that delivers both quality and long-term performance,” Jason Esposito, president of Center Park Group, said in the release. “We’re proud to partner with the TBC Development team to bring this community to life and deliver a product that is not only well-built but intentionally designed for how residents live today and how these assets perform over time.”
